100 police officers from 56 countries attending 8th annual conference of INTERPA at GFSU

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the 8th annual conference of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) jointly organized by the Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU) here today.

Nearly 100 senior police officers from police academies and training institutes from 56 countries are participating in the three-day conference. This year’s theme is ‘Cyber security and combating cybercrime’.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that cybercrime is no more a problem of a nation or two, but has over the years become a global problem. He called for a concerted effort, new approaches and latest technologies to combat the challenge, posing a threat to the entire human race now digitally connected.

He said the doors of the GFSU would always remain open for the academics, researchers, training and capacity building.

Explaining the importance of cyber security in his keynote address, INTERPA President Yilmaz Kolak said that the pattern of cybercrime is fast changing with fast changing technology and increased use of Internet. He said that 72 member institutions from 56 countries have joined ITERPA. The more members join the organization would be better for the members.

He thanked the Gujarat Government and GFSU for providing platform for deliberations during the three-day conference.

Dr. Kolak presented lifetime achievement award to GFSU Director General Dr. J.M. Vyas.

Mr. Vyas said that that GFSU a member of INTERPA and has completed ten years. It is a matter of proud for Gujarat that India is hosting the annual conference of INTERPA here.

CM Cleanse Roads at Sanand in Ahmedabad District as Part of Environment Week


“Gujarat Government mulls levying fines for littering at public places in all municipal corporations, municipalities and taluka towns” – Gujarat CM
Gujarat Chief Minister  Vijay Rupani today himself cleansed the roads at Sanand industrial town in Ahmedabad district today as part of the campaign to observe June 5 to 11 as the statewide ‘Environment Cleanliness Week’, coinciding with World Environment Day.
He launched the Sanand nagarpalika’s cleanliness campaign after offering floral tributes at Babasaheb Ambedkar’s statue near the Bus Station.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the government is considering levying fines for littering at public places in all the municipal corporations, municipalities and taluka towns – totaling 400-odd urban areas in the state. Distributing 51,000 jute bags form a part of creating awareness.
He praised the Ahmedabad district administration for distributing 8,000 dustbins. Since Sanand is already globally known as an auto hub, he wished the message of cleanliness campaign started from Sanand should reach far and wide.
Mr. Rupani said that cleanliness should be a matter of habit. He wished Gujarat leads in implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission in the country by Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary in 2019.
While plastic is known to be a product of development, he said, it should be judiciously used because plastic of less than 50 micron is known to spoil soil and water, pollute environment, and can spread diseases, too. Read more

Gujarat CM Distributes NAMO (New Avenues of Modern Education tablets) e-Tablets to Students


With an aim to provide Digital India mission more forward, Gujarat Government distributing the tablets to the students. For the students, tablets acted as a Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Krishna. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani distributes NAMO (New Avenues of Modern Education tablets) e-tablets to the students of Junagadh, Gir, Somnath, and Dwarka.

In his speech, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani said that youth have to lead the global competition of knowledge. CM Shri Vijay Rupani also announces Free WiFi across the state. Well if we see the past couple of months’ work then I have to say that state Government has taken revolutionary and noticeable decision to empower the youth. The government has made a provision worth Rs. 200 crores for these tablets. The tablets which have a number of benefits have been given to the youth at the cost of Rs. 1000. Read more

Gujarat Government Celebrates School Safety Week


Gujarat Government is preparing the next generation for converting challenges caused by the nature calamities into opportunities. Gujarat Government is first and takes a unique step to celebrate school safety week. Under this program, Government gives training to more than 52,206 teachers. These teachers provide the training to 33,733 schools in Gujarat.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani launched the “School Safety Week” from June 21 to July 1 through BISEG satellite. Gujarat CM also address the collectors, students, teachers and other government officials. In his speech, Gujarat CM said that children and senior citizens are suffered the most in any nature disaster and Gujarat Government is introduced this with an aim to provide the proper education to the students. Vijay Rupani launches ‘Mission Women Empowerment’


  
With an aim to give power push to Women Empowerment in a state. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani launched Mission Women Empowerment in a function. Entire function is organized under the guidance and leadership of Gujarat Urban Co-operative Banks Federation. GUCNF also distributed the tablets to 20 women to bring the digitization in a state. 

In his speech, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani said that BJP government is already giving 50% reservations to women in panchayats and he also said that State Government has launched several women welfare schemes based on women development. Gujarat CM said that our government steadily takes step towards Prime Minister's call Digital India.

Gujarat CM inaugurates Science College at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapith in Dharampur


After taking the charge as Chief Minister, Shri Vijay Rupani continually keeps himself busy in various development works and taking proactive decision for the people. Gujarat Government is always aware people about the importance of education and how it’ll change their lives. Gujarat CM attended the one event held at Dharampur where he unveils and dedicates various development works. 

These development works are worth Rs. 1465 lakh. Remembering Shrimad Rajchandra, in his speech CM said that Shrimad Rajchandra was a great saint. He also said that Shrimad Rajchandra was the spiritual GURU of national father Mahatma Gandhi. CM adopt new approach “Vidya Setu Project” in Valsad, under this, he distributed the certificates. 

With an aim to bring the transparency in the system and people get more and prompt service related to revenue Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani launched AMBER project. AMBER project is launched under the Digital Gujarat mission. Read more

13 Countries Give Consent to Partner Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017

Gujarat Government is all set for one of the major event “Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit”. Summit is going to take place in the month of January. The advisory committee meeting is organized at the capital of the city Gandhinagar and chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel.

Gujarat Government is going to represent the special seminar on Goods and Services Tax as a part of the “Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor” Summit. Being a Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Vijay Rupani will chair the 8th Edition of the summit. Apart from this state Government will also focus on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises during the summit.


If we compared the previous summit with the 8th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit. For the first time, Gujarat Government is going to invite the Nobel Prize winners in the seminar. However, the list of the invitees is yet not declared by the state Government. Including Japan, Australia there are more 11 countries who are agreed to 'partner countries' for the Summit.

Glimpse of Steps that Gujarat Govt Take to Eliminate Malnutrition and Make Healthy Gujarat



Since When Smt. Anandiben Patel took the responsibility of state Chief Minister. She had introduced the Gatisheel Gujarat concept and set milestone which will provide power push state towards Gujarat. To eliminate malnutrition problem in the state and make state healthy, Government took various steps. Gujarat Govt’s work is more effective and highly appreciative in Gatisheel Gujarat 4. 

Analysing the malnutrition problem in state and Gujarat Government categorise it into two red and yellow zone. Govt took more than 1,05,000 children to higher level zone from red or yellow. To ensure all the anganwadi children and students get enough nutrition and vitamins, Gujarat Government provides them good nutritional and flavoured milk in three days a week under Dudh Sanjivani Yojana. Gujarat Makes Rs. 469 Cr Provision for Crop Insurance Scheme


Gujarat Government is steadily working for the farmers and making Gujarat Gatisheel. We all know that some areas of Gujarat are facing the drought out situations. Gujarat Government is preparing the crop insurance for the farmers. In certain situation this crop insurance will bring smile on farmers’ faces and it’ll benefit them more. 

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel informed to media and people of Gujarat that state government is planning to implementation of crop insurance scheme in the state. Gujarat Govt does this under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. State government has been provisioned Rs. 469 crore for the crop insurance. 

Government estimate crop production 95% of the normal around the state. Gujarat Govt start implementation of MGNREGA in drought out areas of state to provide the employment and grapple the poverty. After seeing the work done by the state government, I have to say that with Gujarat is quite good state to live.

Guj CM Attends Lok Samvad Setu in Danta and Amirgadh Talukas of Banaskantha


With an aim to solve people’s problem quickly, Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel organized Lok Samvad Setu in Danta and Amirgadh districts of Banaskantha. With the help of Gujarat Government this unique concept state governance help people at their doorstep. In this program Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel received 128 questions in Danta while 141 questions in Amirgadh. 

Gatisheel Gujarat’s Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel said in the event that Danta district is tribal region and mountainous area. She also told that for complete satisfaction and resolution of people’s question or a problem mutual understanding between different department is most important. At time Gujarat CM handed out a letter of approval to the president of the Taluka Panchayat for allocation of 15 acres of land for constructing a lake in the Rangpur village of Danta taluka. Gujarat Government Launch Master Plan For Drinking Water


The Government of Gujarat is continually working behind the development works. Gujarat Government comes up with a master plan for a drinking water. State Govt is already started the create master plan worth Rs. 69.92 crore. Aim of this master plan begun is to get the relief from possible drought in state. 

State Water Supply Minister, Shri Vijay Rupani  said that more than 12,000 villages are connected with this project. While more than 3,500 villages are connected with the narmada Canal project and apart from this 3,807 villages are connected with the other water sources. Gujarat Government is creating pipeline network to eliminate the drought situation from the state.

Gujarat CM Dedicates 4 Water Supply Centres in Ahmedabad

State Government is continuously fulfill all the commitment which is done by the state government. Change is essential part of the life and Gujarat government is changing state by  doing more and more development works. With aim to provide sufficient water to the people of Ahmedabad. Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel dedicates four water supply centers.

All these four water supply centers are for Ghatlodiya and Gota of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. These four projects are built at the cost of Rs. 48 crores. Smt. Anandiben Patel spoke in her speech that in last few decades state government has taken up a huge steps to provide a water to each and every town as well as villages. 

Gujarat chief minister Smt Anandiben Patel also said in her speech that Gujarat governance did a lot behind water supply. As of now state has more than 1.25 lakh Kilometer long water supply pipeline network. CM distributed ‘sukhdi’ which is collected by the residents of housing societies of the locality for anganwadis. City Mayor and AUDA chairman are also give their presence in the event.
