Swachh Gujarat: Government Declares Rural Gujarat Open Defecation Free


Mahatma Gandhiji, Father of the Nation give the mantra “Cleanliness is Godliness”. Mahatma Gandhiji demonstrated and propagated for individual and community cleanliness in his entire life. Government following his footprints and launched the Nirmal Gujarat Abhiyan in the year of 2005. People of Gujarat are also supporting the state government for this good and noticeable initiative. 

Swachh Gujarat campaign is firstly introduced in the year of 2005 and till now cities of Gujarat bagged many awards and added new features in the hat of Gujarat Government. Gujarat stood first in the construction of individual and public toilets. Honourable President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind declared rural Gujarat as an open defecation free Gujarat. State Government launched a rural comprehensive cleanliness program that covers more than 3300 villages’ panchayats. When it comes to Cleanliness, Gujarat is the leading state in the country with maximum cleanliness awards.

As per the report which is presented by the Commissioner and Secretary, Rural Development Department, that more than 32.45 lakh toilets have been constructed in rural households. Might be few of us knew that formal protocol for ODF is 95% access. However, Gujarat has ensured 100%. After all this Gujarat Government is steadily working behind Swachh Gujarat Mission. Read More

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Launch Swachh Bharat Mission Mobile Application


Gujarat Government work drastically with lots of enthusiasm towards cleanliness mission since the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched his dream project Swachh Bharat Mission. State Government and municipal corporation took many steps to make people healthy and keep city neat and clean.

Taking current efforts to the next level Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation launched a Swachh Bharat Mission mobile application. With the help of this application, You can click photo of garbage or a dump, which is near your home and uploaded it on the application. Apart from this municipal corporation register all the grievance related to cleanliness are registered through this mobile application.

Citizens have filed the complaint related to cleanliness on this mobile application. Once a resident posts a picture of any unclean area, the official concerned will be intimated and asked to ensure that the area is cleaned. For the first time the database of the application will be closely monitored by the state as well as the central government. After certain efforts by the corporation and Government I have to say that sooner we’ll see the clean city where less diseases are spread because of cleanliness.

Guj CM Disburses Grants worth Rs. 413 Crore for Developing Infrastructure and Facilities in 31 Cities


Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel distributed cheques to municipalities head for development work. With aim to provide robust infrastructure and well public services Gujarat chief minister expended grant worth Rs. 413 crores for 31 cities of state. This disbursed grant is allocated under government initiatives AMRUT Mission and Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. 

Purpose behind the allocation of this grant is to bring the development and enhancing the civic facilities for the people of 8 Municipal corporations and 23 municipalities. To push Gujarat CM’s Swachh Gujarat Mission, state government guided authorities to spend grant behind cleanliness works as well. Under Swachh Gujarat, Students of Surat start campaign to clean Tapi


Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi launched Swachh Bharat Mission, soon after Gujarat CM Smt. Anandiben Patel launched Swachh Gujarat to make state clean and diseases free. A group of motley people of Surat’s Veer Narmad South Gujarat University decide to take this campaign forward. They have begun a drive to make Surat’s Tapi river clean and pollution free. 

Students came with new ideas and banners to stick on bridge wall. Apart from this they also done fencing on the wall of bridge for safety and message to “Use Dustbin”. Surat Municipal Corporation made huge banners and hoardings to aware the people about the importance of Cleanliness. One students named Jeet Shukla said that  people are offering flowers in river and make river dirty. This is how an idea came to make banner using different flowers and stick it on the bridge wall. He also added that this river is lifeline of Surat city and time by time river was shrinking and got more polluted. Polluted water killed many sea inspect. 

Well honestly, in my personal point of view, this is great step by the students . As strong supporter of Swachh Bharat Mission, I would request rest of all the people to contribute a little towards govt’s mission and make state and country clean and healthy.

CM talks about Cleanliness, Healthy Gujarat, on ground breaking ceremony of North-South corridor of Metro Rail Project


People of Ahmedabad are eagerly waiting for the first metro train. Pushing state towards development and make Gatisheel. Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel performed ground breaking ceremony of North-South corridor of metro rail project. This is a line-2 corridor and ground breaking ceremony performed near Jivaraj Park at Vejalpur in Ahmedabad. Gujarat government sustain development and continue working towards it. 

Center government continuously provide the assistance and grant to Gujarat govt and people of gujarat thanked central governance for that. CM also grab the opportunity to speak about state govt various initiatives like one of strong drive is “Healthy Gujarat”. While talking about state govt’s “Swachh Gujarat”  mission, she urged people to make Gujarat cleanest and open defecation free state across the nation.

Personally believed that Government’s such demonstration of work prove that governance is working in right direction with their commitment of urban development. With aim of Healthy Gujarat, Govt organize state wide free Health check-up Program


Gujarat Chief Minister smt. Anandiben Patel prioritize important things for state such as women empowerment, health, malnutrition, cleanliness and yuva swavalamban into her Gatisheel Gujarat drive. She continually works towards it and make state better place to live. Under her guidance gujarat governance organized and state wide free health check-up camp. 

Gujarat government’s this program become the blessings for many people. Surendrabhai Gadhvi who is a resident at Thaltej area of Ahmedabad was diagnosed with diabetes. He is a youth of Gujarat as he’s just 20 years old. It was good that disease was diagnosed at young age so it was cured.

Surendrabhai got a free treatment at Sola Civil Hospital through the state governance initiative. I am sure that apart from him many other would also get a benefit of state govt’s health initiative. On PM’s Birthday, Gujarat Celebrate Cleanliness Day (Swachhata Diwas)


To increase cleanliness awareness and people are more get friendly with it. Gujarat and respectively other state government is celebrating Prime minister shri Narendra Modi’s birthday as Swachhata Diwas. Shri Narendra Modi is first person who introduced cleanliness campaign in India. And after that many celebrities are joining hands and support PM’s voice/appeal. 

Gujarat government held an event at Mahatma Gandhi Mandir at Gandhinagar and Gujarat chief minister smt Anandiben Patel attended celebration of Swachhata Diwas. Gujarat stands on top  in cleanliness mission by constructing more individual household toilets. Apart from that Gujarat secure good position in many other sector as well. 

In my personal point of view, I have to say that nowadays common man are more aware about cleanliness, compare to previous time. These days educate people think twice to throw garbage on road and same thing applied on un-educate people too. Coming with new other story but I am sure that if we keep our nearby area than chances of disease like dengue, malaria are likely to decrease by 50%.

Gujarat CM Holds High-Level Review Meet to Extend Water Supply, Health care and Bring Normalcy Life


As per IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) prediction after studying weather is a heavy rain in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Currently there are heavy rains from last two days. “Rainfall decrease after 30th July” : IMD. Almost all rivers are contains lots of water and reservoirs and dams are also overflow because of this rain. 

In wake of this heavy rains, Gujarat chief minister shri Anandiben Patel holds high-level review meet with the officials to discussed about the relief and rescue work. Smt Anandiben Patel talked with the central government about the state situation and soon after government sends National Disaster Relief Force teams which is started rescues operations in Banaskantha. 

Two teams of State Reserve Police Force is also working together with four NDRF teams in Banaskantha while on other hand one NDRF team and two BSF teams are doing rescue operation in Kutch. CM directed to officials to start initiative like cleanliness immediately and bring normalcy quickly in rain affected areas.

Gujarat CM Dedicates Community Health Center at Bopal, Ahmedabad



Gujarat government is focusing more and more on health sector to make gujarat stronger and healthier. Gujarat chief minister shri Anandiben Patel dedicated 30 bed capacity community health center. This community center is built with cost of Rs 3.53 crore rupees and it is having well equipment and all the modern facilities. 

Five villages of daskroi district will get the benefit of this community health center. In her speech CM shri Anandiben Patel appealed to the citizen to pay attention about health care environment. Maintain cleanliness to stay healthier especially in monsoon season. She also said that keep aways from unhygienic food and spread awareness on improving public health.

Gujarat CM Dedicate Underground Drainage System at Mansa


To give power push to cleanliness and Swachhta mission. Once again chief minister of Gujarat shri Anandiben Patel dedicated an underground drainage system in Mansa which is near by Gandhinagar. Work of this underground drainage system done under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana and cost of this project is Rs 26.55 crores. 

After dedicating drainage system CM shri Anandiben Patel is handed over cheque worth rupees 1,99,99,000 to mansa municipality for road resurfacing work. She also expressed her happiness and said that social leaders are take up cleanliness and sanitation issue vital and the people of the state will get benefits of health and hygiene because of this mission. Shri Anandiben Patel is also launched website www.gnfcneem.in, developed for this purpose by GNFC.

During this event there are other ministers, mlas, government officers, community leaders and citizens remained present.

CM Discusses Planning of Upcoming Shala Praveshotsav with Ministers & Officers


Gujarat chief minister shri Anandiben Patel want not any single mistake in upcoming event. And to give this a final cut She held a meeting with ministers and officers for planning and implementation of the upcoming 13th Shala Praveshotsav and Kanya Kelavani Rathyatra. CM continually want every department's activity and their participation towards it. 

She also said that teachers should engage in all the activity which are based on learning for students, she also added that this is how teachers can shape students’ inner talent. she exhorted those present and others through video conference, to put in all efforts for successful school enrolment of children across the state. CM Marks State Wide Celebration of Gujarat Gaurav Divas


Gujarati people are fun loving. They never miss any single opportunity of celebrations. Today a proud feeling day for gujarati. Today is gujarat Day and people of gujarat celebrate it not just in terms of real but they also make it drastic on social media. 

Today Chief Minister of Gujarat smt. Anandiben Patel Mahila Sammelan and also interacts with Sakhi Mandal too. Gujarat CM started statewide cleanliness campaign and gives a power push to prime minister’s cleanliness mission. 

Today she dedicate and flag off many development work and buses. She flagged off new 50 GSRTC ( Gujarat State Road Transport Service). Apart from this she laid foundation stone of new city civic center. During the event she visited the various stall exhibiting huge range of handicrafts and products.

As we all know that Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Anandiben Patel an active chief minister and she often take surprise visit to check last person gets the benefit of scheme which are issued by the government. Anandiben attended co-operative convention of BJP’s north-central zone at Gandhinagar and guide all party workers to their duty towards state. 

Shri Anandiben Patel said during her speech in convention that people and many other communities like our government’s mantras “Sauno Saath Sauno Vikas (Stay Together, Develop Together)” and I’m sure on the basis of this we gets quite good positive response on BJP’s membership drive program from citizens.

She also appeals workers to aware citizens about the development work which is done in state. CM said that almost 1 crore and 65 lakh people are connected with this co-operative convention. By joining this you become a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. She said to party workers that create awareness of government scheme and facilities, so that citizens can take more and more benefit of it. 

At the end CM Shri also gives the preference to cleanliness and a (SwachhGujarat) campaign which she run to keep Gujarat clean. There are other politicians and party leaders are also present in this function.

Gujarat Government Allocated Almost 48% To Social Service Sector


Gujarat’s Finance Minister Shri Saurabh Patel is presented the 2015-16 year budget in Gujarat assembly yesterday. During his speech he said that government allocated almost 48.53% which is total outlay of budget. Government dedicate around 79,295.11 to the social sector which is quite high.

However social sector has been accorded priority in the sector-wise allocation. This entire amount is divided according to the priority based on drinking water, primary, health care, education, housing, nutrition, labour welfare, employment. Apart from this it is also based on sanitation development for women and children and gives a power push to cleanliness mission.

As we take a look at this social sector provision than we clearly see that through this government not just make Gujarat Gatisheel but with the help of this government also gives a little power-push to the cleanliness mission. Cleanliness is something that reduces the possibility of illness and disease.
