Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today underlined the need to set up visualization schools equipped with projectors and screen to create scientific environment and scientific temper among students from the school level itself.
Opening ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ at Hiramani School here, he said that NITI Aayog extended Rs.10-lakh one time assistance and Rs.2-lakh per annum maintenance cost to schools to set such labs. Hiramani is one of the 250 schools selected in Gujarat.
Mr. Rupani said it is necessary for wider application of science and technology for the welfare of the society and development of the nation. It is to develop the inherent talents of students – whether they are poor of rich.
