Twenty bright children belonging to the most neglected sections of the society were admitted to Standard VIII under the aegis of Shree Pujit Rupani Memorial Trust in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium in Rajkot today.
The memorial working since 1995 by adopting 40 bright children of rag-pickers for their school education has so far adopted nearly 400 children. They are helped to crack competitive tests to become doctors, engineers and become useful citizens.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who is also the Chairman of the Trust, said that good work doesn’t wait for anyone as God is with such social workers. Our aim is to ensure best possible education to the needy children. He wished the fresh students all success.
