Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has clearly expressed his view that there is a demand for time for tree-raising for green-clean sustainable development.

He also called upon Gujarat to fulfill the concept of "one person - one tree" to create a role model of development along with the balance of environment.

The Chief Minister was addressing the launch of 'Jadeshwar Forest', which is being constructed in an area of ​​8.55 hectares under the 70th Forest Festival of the state level in Odhav, Ahmedabad.

Shri Vijaybhai Rupani called for the goal of planting 100 million tree plantations under the Forest Festival this year to increase the green cover to make Gujarat a leader in the green revolution.

He added that not only the planting of trees, but also the public campaign for its conservation and upbringing.

Rajkot's son-in-law, Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, who gave the gift of several developmental projects to Rajkot, was also impressed by the Rajkot residents' active plan to construct and fulfill the 'Urban Forest'. August was his birthday present.

Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani inaugurated this new project by planting trees in his yard and said that around 10 million trees will be planted during the Forest Festival this year in Gujarat. Deforestation in the plant is happening all over Gujarat. Rajkot city will also be pollution-free, through the green forest. He also added that the task of conserving nature is being done in Rajkot.

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today said that Gujarat Government will extend all cooperation to Rajkot Information Technology Association (RITA) for setting up IT Park at Rajkot.

Speaking at a recruitment camp organized by RITA at the Atmiya University campus at Rajkot, he said that IT sector holds tremendous scope for providing jobs to youth and help them in the state’s development. He paid his obeisance at the Hari temple at the campus.

Atmiya University’s founder Tyag Vallabh Swamiji announced the launch of new courses in Logistic and Data Science Analytics at the university and blessed the Chief Minister on his 63rd birth anniversary.

Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has established new milestones of social responsibility, compassion and social service by celebrating his 64th birthday among the children with disabilities in Rajkot.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani said that the Gujarat Government has launched a special campaign for social service. A provision of Rs 50 crore fund has been made for lighting equipment only. As a result of the qualitative change in the lives of the disabled and their overall development, the state government is working in consequence with the help of social organizations.

The Chief Minister had made it clear in this regard that a society which does not have sensation for the deities is not considered a civilized society. The Gujarat government is also working to build a civilized society through the participation of the people.
