Gujarat CM Dedicates 4 Water Supply Centres in Ahmedabad

State Government is continuously fulfill all the commitment which is done by the state government. Change is essential part of the life and Gujarat government is changing state by  doing more and more development works. With aim to provide sufficient water to the people of Ahmedabad. Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel dedicates four water supply centers.

All these four water supply centers are for Ghatlodiya and Gota of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. These four projects are built at the cost of Rs. 48 crores. Smt. Anandiben Patel spoke in her speech that in last few decades state government has taken up a huge steps to provide a water to each and every town as well as villages. 

Gujarat chief minister Smt Anandiben Patel also said in her speech that Gujarat governance did a lot behind water supply. As of now state has more than 1.25 lakh Kilometer long water supply pipeline network. CM distributed ‘sukhdi’ which is collected by the residents of housing societies of the locality for anganwadis. City Mayor and AUDA chairman are also give their presence in the event.

Gujarat CM Addresses Huge Convention of Farmers at Gandhinagar


Large farmers convention was held in Gandhinagar. Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel became a part of this convention along with Bharatiya Janata Party president Shri Vijay Rupani.  She assured the farmers that BJP government is fulfill the commitment towards the development of farmers and state. Here, she also explained about the various Government of Gujarat’s initiatives and schemes.

Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel gave brief about Narmada Dam and explained people how work of installing dam gates are done. She also said it is very easy to get the permission to increase the height of Narmada Dam since when previous chief minister of Gujarat and current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi handle the central government. 

Shri Narendra Modi gave permission to increase the height within 15 days. State government understand the importance of irrigation for farmers and keep this in mind government launched underground pipeline project to kick water conversation to the end part of state. Now Narmada’s water is available in Kutch area and five major pumping stations will take care of people of Kutch’s water need. Read More

Gujarat Govt Arm Organizes Utsad Shilp Utsav for Minority Handicraft Artists

Gujarat government is believes in all round development of state. With motive to provide exposure platform to all state government is implemented some of initiatives and some time organize program which will boost the minor people’s creative work. 

Ganibhai Qureshi who is a Vice President of Gujarat Minor Finance and Development Department. Today he inaugurated “Utsad Shilp Utsav” at vastrapur in Ahmedabad. You can visit Amdavad haat located at vastrapur and see artists work. Prime motive behind this Utsad Shilp Utsav is to showcasing and selling the minority cast artist’s handicraft items. This utsav will continue till 28th march and it is showcasing bamboo work, pottery, Akik, incense sticks, Sudi-chappa items. Apart from this hand printing work done by the artists is main attractable handicraft work here. 

Gujarat Government’s Road Safety Policy Aims at Reducing Mishaps by 50 percent


On the direction of supreme court and under the guidance of central government Gujarat government prepared new road safety policy 2016. Purpose behind this new road safety policy is to strengthen road safety and decrease the road accident ratio across state.  

According to the new policy road accident ratio is decreased by 50 percent by the end of year 2020. Policy also hold the special emphasis to provide the quality and immediate medical treatment to victims of road accident. To keep this in mind government also made arrangement of air ambulance in special cases. 

As a part of new road safety policy expert agency will be appointed to setup a dedicated functional structure of road safety. Strict action will be taken against whom who are violating traffic rules. With aim to use modern technologies government set up and implemented CCTV surveillance, RFID and GPS. Read More

Guj CM Disburses Grants worth Rs. 413 Crore for Developing Infrastructure and Facilities in 31 Cities


Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel distributed cheques to municipalities head for development work. With aim to provide robust infrastructure and well public services Gujarat chief minister expended grant worth Rs. 413 crores for 31 cities of state. This disbursed grant is allocated under government initiatives AMRUT Mission and Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. 

Purpose behind the allocation of this grant is to bring the development and enhancing the civic facilities for the people of 8 Municipal corporations and 23 municipalities. To push Gujarat CM’s Swachh Gujarat Mission, state government guided authorities to spend grant behind cleanliness works as well. Gujarat Govt Sanctions Rs. 45 Cr for Reconstruction of Vadodara Food & Drug Testing Lab


Good news for the people of Vadodara as state government recently sanctioned amount of Rs. 45 crore for the reconstruction of food and drug testing laboratory. Sanctioned amount is come from memorandum of understanding signed between state government and ministry of health for rebuilding. Vadodara food and drug testing laboratory is considered in biggest and oldest testing laboratory in India’s western part. 

For this, Gujarat government building a new state of art multi-storied building to satisfy current and future requirement of regulatory need. Commissioner of Gujarat FDCA Shri Dr. H. G. Koshia said that if things are going as per our plan than we’ll ensure that this laboratory work will complete in year and after that we leverage the operation work. 

Dr. Koshia also added that In year of 2014-15, Vadodara’s existing testing laboratory has tested 11,300 drug samples while 12,000 plus food samples. Currently there are four laboratories in state and two of them are dedicated to food testing which are based in Rajkot and Bhuj.

Gujarat Govt to Set up Call Center Cum Control Room, Flying Squad Against Minerals Theft


We all know that Gujarat government is believes in sustain development. To stop theft and increase the security level state government planning to introduce call center. Gujarat government earn more than Rs 800 crores royalty each year from Minerals. Government earn this because state has rich presence of mineral oriented industries. Under the able, leadership behind Gujarat chief minister Smt. Anandiben Patel, governance planning to set up a call center cum control room. 

State government’s purpose behind to set up this kind of call center cum control room is to take action against minerals theft. State minister Shri Saurabh Patel said that this control room will be very helpful to people. Citizens will complain through various modes like Email, Facebook, Twitter, Website, WhatsApp etc. he also added that contact details of call center cum control room will be publicized for people of gujarat. 

On the registration of any complaints, authority will be provide an complaints number through SMS, people can use the complaints number to track the status of actions against the complaints. Governance this step take one more step ahead towards Digital Gujarat.
