GUJ CM Inaugurates Newly - Built Building of the Surat Co - Operative Bank


સહકારનો મતલબ છેવાડાના પીડિતશોષિત અને ગરીબ માનવીનો ઉત્કર્ષ અને અંત્યોદયની ભાવનાશ્રી વિજયભાઈ રૂપાણી
મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી વિજયભાઇ રૂપાણીએ છેવાડાના ગરીબ માનવીના કલ્યાણમાં સહકારી બેન્કો - સંસ્થાઓનું આગવું પ્રદાન રહ્યું છે તેવો સ્પષ્ટ મત વ્યકત કર્યો છે.
તેમણે આ સંદર્ભમાં એમ પણ કહ્યું કે, રાજ્ય સરકાર પણ પીડિત, શોષિત, વંચિત અને ગ્રામીણ તથા છેવાડાના માનવીના સર્વગ્રાહી ઉત્થાન માટે પ્રતિબધ્ધ છે.
રાજ્યના સહકારી માળખાને પણ આ હેતુસર સુગ્રથિત કરવાની નેમ તેમણે વ્યકત કરી હતી.
શ્રી વિજયભાઇ રૂપાણીએ સૂરતમાં રૂા. ૩૪ કરોડના ખર્ચે નિર્માણ પામેલા ધી સૂરત ડિસ્ટ્રીકટ કો-ઓપરેટીવ બેન્કના નવનિર્મિત ભવનનું ઉદઘાટન કર્યુ હતું.
આ ભવન ગ્રીન ટેકનોલોજીથી સજ્જ છે અને સૌરઊર્જા, જળ સંરક્ષણ જેવા ઉપાયોનો અહિં વિનિયોગ થયો છે.
આ પ્રસંગે મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, સમગ્ર દેશમાં સહકારી વ્યવસ્થાપનમાં ગુજરાત અગ્રેસર છે. છેવાડાના ગરીબ માનવીના કલ્યાણમાં સહકારીઓ સંસ્થાઓનું આગવું પ્રદાન રહ્યું છે, જે સૂરતની ધી સૂરત ડિસ્ટ્રિકટ કો-ઓપરેટીવ બેંક લિ. સંસ્થાએ સાચા અર્થમાં સાર્થક કર્યું છે.

Dholera will be Developed as World - Class Smart City: GUJ CM

Expressing a strong determination to attract foreign investors and industrialists to invest in Gujarat state, CM Mr. Rupani said that “During the forthcoming coming event of ‘Vibrant Summit – 2019’, Dholera – SIR and International Smart City would be showcased as the investment destination.
With a vision to fulfill the dream envisaged by PM Mr. Narendra Modi to present Dholera on the global map by developing it as the world class smart city and smartest city among the smart cities of Gujarat state, Chief Minister said, “To achieve this, the government has undertaken infrastructural projects worth of Rs. 3000-crore at Dholera SIR.
Today, Mr. Vijay Rupani laid foundation stones for Common Effluent Treatment Plant with capacity of 20 MLD and Pipali – Dholera Pipeline Project, which would supply water to Dholera, at Dholera.
Mr. Vijay Rupani also stated that world’s biggest solar park, along with underground drainage, water, electricity, optical fiber network and other ultramodern amenities are being developed at Dholera. In addition to these, to develop Dholera and Ahmedabad as the twin cities an eight-lane highway would be built connecting these two cities. Dholera’s developmental periphery would be spreading over 900 km, which would be bigger than the entire Singapore, he added.

2,301 Lok Rakshaks, Including 795 Mahila, to Join Ahmedabad Police Force


CM asked Lok Rakashaks to diligently discharge their duty towards the Constitution, maintain law-and-order situation with the mantra of service before self, and improve the image of Gujarat state Police.
He was speaking at Gujarat’s biggest-ever passing-out parade to induct 2,301 Lok Rakshaks, including 795 Mahila Lok Rakshaks, in the Ahmedabad City Police after eight months’ intensive training. He asked them to adopt a compassionate attitude towards the have-nots, persecuted, oppressed, poor and the needy.
The Chief Minister Vijay Roopani said that Gujarat Police by virtue of their confidence and hard work, backed by the state government’s will power, changed the image of cities like Ahmedabad, Porbandar and Surat, once known for their criminal activities. Mr. Roopani  called for making the Police Force more techno savvy as in CCTV surveillance and command and control wall, to cope with new challenges in crime.
Mr. Roopani said that as many as 18,000 police personnel were inducted through transparent recruitment process during the last one year.

CM Opens Water and Amusement Park at ‘The Enjoy City’ at Valvod Near Anand

Gujarat CM Rupani today inaugurated India’s biggest water park and amusement park at ‘The Enjoy City’ built at a cost of Rs.1,100 Cr at Valvod in Borsad taluka in Anand district in Gujarat on the picturesque bank of Mahisagar river.
The MoU for this unique project was signed during the Vibrant Gujarat state Summit in January 2017 between Sakar Group and Gujarat Tourism. It can provide jobs to 2,000 local youths from nearby areas, it gradually becoming an economic activity centre. The Enjoy City’ will not use the Mahisagar water, but recycle water generated from its own resources.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vijay Rupani said ‘The Enjoy City’ would soon become a Mini Disneyland. He said the Gujarat State Government’s effective and transparent tourism policy has resulted in attracting maximum investment in tourism industry in the state, with tourists from India and abroad visiting the tourists’ spots.

CM Visits Primary School in Valsad on the Second Day of Gunotsav 2018


Gujarat CM Mr. Rupani visited the Chikhla Primary School in Valsad on the second day of the 8th Gunotsav in Gujarat.  He had a brief interaction with the students there and tested their oral and written Educational skills along with mathematics and general knowledge.
He expressed with pride that the state government is firm in its resolve to ensure that the children of poor and middle class families across the state are able to get modern day education to keep up with the changing times and developing world. Mr. Roopani said that the government schools in the state are being equipped with modern methods of learning through digital mode just like the private schools.
He further added that the school dropout rate has come down to just 1.5% due to Gunotsav and Shala Praveshotsav and the literacy rate in the state has reached  to 70%.
Mr. Roopani further appealed to the teachers and said that it is their responsibility to shape the future generation of the nation in the best possible way so that they can cope up with any and every possible hurdle in life. By comparing schools with temples, he further went on to say that the teachers should make dedicated efforts to make the environment of schools ideal for becoming the temple of knowledge.
