Guj CM presented cheque worth Rs 2.14 lakh to Zeel Vidja, the 10,000th beneficiary of MYSY Scheme


Gujarat government support students for their better education. Government steadily helps students who are from economically backward class. Gujarat chief minister Smt Anandiben Patel handed over a cheque worth Rs. 2.14 lakh to Zeel Vodja, who is a 10,000th beneficiary of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana. This scheme is launched by Gujarat chief minister. 

Motive aim to launch behind this scheme is to provide financial assistance to all bright students who are not financial stronger. Till date, more than 15,000 students are applied for the financial assistance under the MYSY scheme and from them more than 9999 students got assistance worth Rs. 32.69 crore. 

Entirely under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, financial assistance worth Rs. 719 crore has been provided to bright students. Those districts who have not higher education facilities nor a government hostel in this case gujarat govt provide Rs. 12,000 per month to students as part of boarding and lodging.
