Chief Minister's Call For Fast Improvement in Educational Standard for Faster Growth of Gujarat, Focus on Basic Amenities This Year

Government officials to visit 34,000 primary schools in 8th Gunotsav Abhiyan April 6-7, 2018
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today asked the officials to keep up the Gujarat Government’s annual year school enrollment and educational improvement drive before the beginning of the new academic year through the 8th Gunotsav Abhiyan to be held this year from April 6 to 8, 2018.
The state government officers and employees are scheduled to fan out all over the rural during these two days to evaluate 54-lakh students studying in over 34,000 rural or city government primary schools, ashram shalas and grant-in-aid schools during the three days.
Addressing the officers and employees to fan out all over the state shortly, Mr. Rupani said that most of the students coming to government primary schools belong to so poor and labour class families. It is the government’s duty to raise their standard. This year the focus should be on evaluation of physical amenities in the villages like road, water and healthcare facilities as well in consultation with the village elders, in addition to A, B and C grade given to schools.

Gujarat to set up 16 new GIDC, Women GIDC, Coastal Economic Zone: CM VIJAYBHAI RUPANI



Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today called on to fulfil the pledge to create Increadible India through Make in India.
Speaking at a function organised to warm welcome the listing of shares of MacPower CNC Machines Limited at the NSC, the Chief Minister said that CNC machines are providing employment to 50,000 Gujarati people. In Gujarat, only Jyoti CNC and Make Power CNC are making machines, which is definitely a proud for smaller city like Rajkot.
Through Vibrant Gujarat series 260 listed shares of the NSC have become the best investment destinations for the foreigners in last four years, he said and added that Gujarat has become number one in FDI and production. Beside these, with 200,000 MSMI units Gujarat has become number one.
